A TASTE OF THE VINEYARD, BUILT IN SAG HARBOR
Wölffer Kitchen marked the first restaurant venture by the acclaimed Wölffer Estate Vineyard — a space that translated the elegance of their wines into a warm, elevated dining experience. Located in the heart of Sag Harbor, the restaurant brought together a vineyard’s earthy roots with the coastal charm of the village.
Zappola Construction was proud to lead the full interior renovation, working in close collaboration with the design team to shape a space that felt both refined and inviting. Though the restaurant has since closed, this project remains one of our standout builds: a balance of texture, tone, and timeless design.
Project Scope
Full interior renovation of restaurant space
Custom millwork and finish carpentry
High-end lighting and fixture installation
Integration of natural wood, whitewashed walls, and brass details
Functional back-of-house and front-of-house enhancements
Coordination with the interior design team for the signature Wölffer aesthetic
From the start, this project was all about intention. Every material was chosen to echo the vineyard’s natural sophistication — warm woods, soft whites, and subtle metallics. We focused on bringing a sense of ease to the space while maintaining clean lines and modern structure.
Open sightlines, ambient lighting, and custom details allowed the restaurant to transition effortlessly from daytime brunches to intimate evening dinners. Every inch of the space was designed to support both beauty and function, just like a well-crafted wine.
