Tucked away on a private property in Springs, East Hampton, this 1950s cottage was thoughtfully renovated to serve as a multi-use space that blends function and charm. While the original structure had strong bones and timeless character, it required a full interior update to support year-round use.
Zappola Construction preserved the cottage’s classic details — including exposed beams and tiled floors — while integrating modern upgrades throughout. New windows, energy-efficient systems, custom millwork, and a bright, open layout created a space that feels both grounded and refreshed.
Today, the cottage functions as a quiet, dedicated office and creative space — a seamless extension of the main home designed for focus, flexibility, and retreat.
